ART AS SCIENCE

The art of the anthropological analysis of the pictorial vision of Leonardo DaVinci took root from the impressive resemblance taken from the results of researches on genome evolution of the Homo Sapiens with the studies of Human Figures and with the extraordinary pictorial results of Leonardo himself. Leonardo studies with insistence, with a method of repeated anatomical dissections, probably carried out exactly the way it's done today, the key muscle of evolution, the Sternocleidomastoid muscle. The muscle that permitted the head of the pack to control the attack group for 5 million years.

" From the highlands, where they lived sheltered in caves and gorges, the small hungry group races to the glades where it will attack the Big Animal half asleep. It's dawn, and at the end of the race the monkeys are euphoric. Their hyperpnea eliminates their fear, (hyperpnea eliminates their fight-flight syndrome). The head of the pack quickly turns his head from left to right, the monkeys in turn quickly and stealthly closen up to the prey and when the head of the pack sees that all the monkeys are aligned in a semicircle launches himself behind the Big Animal's ear and aims for its throat. The other monkeys follow, jumping savagely on his back, on his eyes, and on the gonads of the unfortunate animal, sinking their teeth with unheard of ferocity. It's a lateral blitz devised to knock the animal off its feet. The animal, surprised, tries to free himself from his attackers but the bite behind his nape is a mortal one."
